JANUARY 2017

We have just released a new beta version of the NeoMesh protocol. The new features we have added will increase longevity and versatility of the network, and will make it even easier for you to develop and implement your own NeoMesh solution.

One of the new features is Hibernation Mode. You can configure a node to hibernate until a user wakes it up. In Hibernation Mode the node consumes almost no power at all. This is relevant for applications, where node and battery are moulded into a plastic cavity to shield it effectively from the environment.

Another new feature is Alternate Configuration Mode, allowing two different tasks to be performed simultaneously. This is useful for instance in a setup or debug situation.

Finally, you can now enable Wireless Encrypted Setup mode remotely. This is useful when nodes have to be removed from one network and reassigned to another.
