Demo, presentation and workshop will show the features and benefits of combining two leading wireless technologies

July 8, 2025 – At The Things Conference 2025 in Amsterdam, NeoCortec and its Italian partner Embit will be showing their latest EMB-LR1121-e/mesh module, a dual-band embedded LoRa-enabled NeoMesh wireless network module. The companies will also demonstrate a NeoMesh wireless network using LoRa modulation.

Visitors to the stand will learn more about the features and benefits of combining NeoMesh’s simple and massive scalability, high reliability and low power consumption with Semtech’s LoRa modulation, which performs well in noisy environments such as buildings where Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also present. The demo will also showcase how easy it is to set up and run such a wireless network.

Thomas Steen Halkier, CEO of NeoCortec, will give a presentation on “NeoMesh on LoRa: Wireless Networking Beyond the Single-Hop Paradigm – Scalable, Reliable, and Ultra-Low Power”, and Embit will hold a hands-on workshop where attendees can experience the NeoMesh on LoRa modules in action.

About NeoCortec

NeoCortec was founded in 2007 with the aim of developing and patenting several innovations related to Wireless Sensor Networks. The main product is NeoMesh. NeoMesh is a wireless communication protocol to be embedded in smart devices to enable communication between the devices as well as to the cloud. NeoMesh is built completely from scratch to overcome some of the limitations that e.g. Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth and Thread have: scalability in number of devices, range and power consumption. At NeoCortec, we aim towards making non-smart and large buildings smarter by using NeoMesh. Easy upgrade without cabling. NeoMesh is available on ultra-low-power bi-directional wireless mesh network communication modules as well as on a license basis on many various chipsets.
