New demo from NeoCortec shows how easy and quick it is to create full sensor-to-cloud solutions using NeoMesh wireless mesh network technology

April 11, 2024 – At Embedded World 2024, NeoCortec showcased a new demonstration illustrating the seamless and rapid creation of full sensor-to-cloud solutions using NeoMesh Click boards from MikroE and the IoTConnect cloud solution from Avnet.

The demo was based on the recently launched NeoMesh Click boards from MikroE, which integrate the necessary sensors and are available through Avnet’s ecosystem. Connected directly to Avnet’s IoTConnect cloud solution, the setup demonstrated the functionality of a cloud-based sensor network across applications such as smart buildings, metering, security, agriculture, transportation, industry 4.0, medical and food distribution.

The Click boards eliminate the need for engineers to develop their own prototype PCB hardware, making it easy to start proof-of-concept testing quickly and at low cost. Thomas Steen Halkier said the demonstration showed NeoMesh to be a natural choice for battery-powered, highly scalable and reliable wireless sensor networks that are straightforward to set up and run.
