February 7, 2024 – NeoCortec announced that it will exhibit at Light+Building 2024 in Frankfurt and that CEO Thomas Steen Halkier will present on extending wireless sensor networks to really large buildings without infrastructure. Visitors to NeoCortec’s stand can learn how the company’s ultra-low power NeoMesh wireless mesh network technology enables reliable, scalable and battery-operated smart-building deployments without cabling upgrades.
The company highlighted that NeoMesh allows facility networks to be created easily with sensor nodes that can run on small batteries for years and automatically self-heal if a node fails. NeoCortec also planned to showcase several application examples on its stand to explain the technology in more detail for smart-building users.
Thomas Steen Halkier said NeoCortec was looking forward to attending Light+Building and explaining to visitors how NeoMesh works and why it is suitable for their respective smart-building applications.
About NeoCortec
NeoCortec was founded in 2007 with the aim of developing and patenting several innovations related to Wireless Sensor Networks. The main product is NeoMesh. NeoMesh is a wireless communication protocol to be embedded in smart devices to enable communication between the devices as well as to the cloud. NeoMesh is built completely from scratch to overcome some of the limitations that e.g. Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth and Thread have: scalability in number of devices, range and power consumption. At NeoCortec, we aim towards making non-smart and large buildings smarter by using NeoMesh. Easy upgrade without cabling. NeoMesh is available on ultra-low-power bi-directional wireless mesh network communication modules as well as on a license basis on many various chipsets.
