NeoCortec offers NeoMesh – a protocol which allow you to build large IOT networks where all devices may run on batteries, where there are no practical limitation on how many devices there are and no infrastructure of mains powered routers / repeaters are needed.
Simplicity is the key to our technology: NeoMesh is a professional, agile, scalable, and ultra low power wireless connectivity solution with very few limitations. Our protocol is user-friendly both during development of the IOT system, as well as during installation of it. This provide a short time-to-market. With NeoMesh it has never been easier to create a complete, autonomous and self-containing wireless mesh-network targeting sensor type applications.

In wireless communication “Low Power” has become an expression widely used – and abused. This whitepaper gives you an overview over the aspects you need to consider to get a realistic and accurate assessment of power consumption in a wireless sensor network.
DownloadA new node can connect to an existing network immediately and automatically through a secure match-making procedure.
A self forming mesh network where nodes can be added over time: All nodes are autonomous units, fully capable of acting as source, router and estination for data. No nodes hierarchy or network infrastructure is required.
A virtually limitless number of nodes can be added to an existing network,
making the NeoMesh network particularly suitable for monitoring large areas.
Nodes can be repositioned when and where is needed: no need to predefine the topology of the network.
The NeoMesh routing optimization process is constantly updated in the background: Each node continuously calculates the best available next hop in real-time, while the payload data is moving through the network. Moving nodes and occurring obstacles are not effecting the real-time optimal path creation.
All nodes are equally power efficient: the network is able to function optimally and independently from external power sources for years.
The exchange of data between source and destination node is governed by an end-to-end challenge/response mechanism to protect the communication from playback attacks. End-to-end Acknowledge based on 32 bit CRC provides for cable like reliability which is crucial in for instance industrial applications.
The different NeoMesh modules (2.4 GHz, 868/915 MHz, 433 MHz) share the same interface and footprint. This means that end products using the NeoMesh technology can change the wireless module without any need of redesign.
The NeoMesh wireless module come furbished with all the needed features for easy integration in the final product.
NeoMesh networks are totally subscription free, no recurring fees means a total ownership of the network operations.
With a range of radio modules, together with the patented NeoMesh network protocol and a gateway connecting the network to the IP world, NeoMesh offers a complete solution from device to cloud.

PRESS RELEASE: Presentation from NeoCortec at EOT – Electronics of Tomorrow 2025 about Mesh using LoRa
NeoCortec now on MikroE Click Boards™
NeoCortec is pleased to announce, together with MikroElektronika (MikroE), the introduction of new Click Boards™ based on Neocortec modules. With the NeoMesh protocol being a natural choice when building battery powered, highly scalable and reliable wireless sensor networks, developers now have access to a large selection of MCU, sensor and other boards which can simply be clicked together to form a device.
NeoCortec extends Gateway Software with NeoMesh Management Tool
NeoCortec has launched an extension to the already existing NeoGateway, which is a open source software solution intended to run on any Linux based GW, which allows the customer to automatically monitor the health of the deployed networks.
Tadiran white paper on NeoMesh and batteries for IoT applications
Tadiran batteries who is a leading manufacturer of batteries for wireless devices has written this whitepaper on battery selection. To ensure a long battery life in your IoT or sensor network device, you need to consider many aspects.
Low cost DIY PCB antennas for Wireless IOT
Any design engineer who integrates wireless technology into a product, has to consider what antenna to use. In NeoCortec, we often see that customers are struggling in this area. In order to provide more insight into the area of antennas, and to help design engineers to achieve a good design, we decided to sponsor a white paper which focuses on antennas for IoT applications and more specifically on low cost PCB antennas. We turned to antenna and IoT expert Mr. Harald Naumann who accepted the task to shre his knowledge and experience on the matter. The result is a 87 page comprehensive white paper....
